Why Sonadesk exists

I kept watching the same thing happen. A good tradesperson — genuinely good, booked solid because they’re good — up a ladder or under a floor, phone buzzing in their pocket. By the time they ring back that evening, the customer has already booked the next name on Google.

The unfairness of it bothered me. The best person for the job was losing the job to whoever happened to answer. And then, after losing work all day, they’d spend the evening on quotes, invoices and paperwork instead of with their family.

The software that was supposed to fix this either did one small piece of the puzzle — another app, another login, another bill — or was built for marketing agencies to assemble and resell, not for the person actually doing the work. Nothing just answered the phone, booked the job, took the deposit and did the admin, done-for-you, at a price in pounds that made sense.

So I built it. Sonadesk is the front desk I wished every tradesperson had: it answers your calls, texts and website chat 24/7 in your business’s voice, books real slots in your real diary, sends the deposit link, drafts the quote, raises the invoice, files the certificate and remembers every customer. You stay the boss — it just never lets the phone ring out.

We hold ourselves to the same standard we sell. That’s why our own line — 07862 147467 — is answered by our own AI when we can’t pick up. If we wouldn’t run our business on it, we won’t ask you to.
